Your Role:

The purpose of this position is to coordinate the Mailroom activity, and other office services in relation to Facility Services and Maintenance group for the St Louis Mo Sites, and other corresponding needs related to other sites outside of St Louis MO area.

  • Work independently to sort and distribute mail and Packages into Mailbox or deliver to office of recipients for all sites in the St Louis area
  • Email employees that are not assigned a mailbox to pick up their mail packages or priority deliveries
  • Operate mail metering machine for outgoing mail
  • Scan and email incoming mail to employees outside St Louis whenever acceptable
  • Excel knowledge to update roster. Will make other reports and have ability to do other Excel activity from other systems such as SAP and I-Office
  • Maintain and organized Mailroom, create slots if needed for employees, and maintain supplies, for operation of an efficient mailroom
  • Communication skill set to contact vendors/companies to update previous employees and add current employees to mailing list
  • Consolidate and mail other employees/departmental mail outside the St Louis MO
  • Pick up, up to 50lbs and get mail from the reception desk to mailroom for daily sorting and distributing


Physical Attributes:
  • Works independently on a variety of shifts
  • Walking, standing, reaching above the shoulder
  • Lifting and moving of up to 50 pounds unassisted
  • Use of close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
  • Works at varying heights


Who You Are:

Minimum Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
  • 2 + years of office experience


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous mailroom experience
  • Strong communication skills including excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Teamwork minded with strong interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organizational and 6S skills
  • Self-motivated and highly productive
