Your role: an excitingopportunity has arisen for a talented QC Microbiology Analystto join our team within Quality Control at ourLivingston site.As our QCMicrobiology Analyst,duties willinclude performing Lot Release Testingusing Bioburden, Sterility and Total Viable Count methods to ensure product quality prior to customer release; Bioburden testing of onsite water systems are performed, as well asgrowth promotion of raw materials and identification ofmicro-organisms using biochemical techniques. Youwill be involved in the site wide environmental monitoring programme, perform trend analysis and technical investigations of microbiological processes and OOS results. The role is within a highly regulated cGxP facility where testing is performed in accordance with test specifications and procedures. Youshould be comfortable within a small team in a fast-paced environment, where good report writing, interpersonal communication skills and attention to detail are essential.

Who you are:

• Have a Degree in Microbiology or have studied microbiology as part of your degree and / or have equivalent experience in Life Science
• Have experience in various Aseptic / Microbiological techniques
• GDP / GMP experience would be an advantage, as well as experience inenvironmental monitoring and cleanrooms
• Have good IT skills (Office suite)
• Have good verbal and communication skills
• Have the ability to work to deadlines
