Your role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Scientist working within the Product Characterization group. This position will be directly involved in the characterization and custom testing in the expanding market of biological therapies. We are looking for an experienced and dynamic scientist to work on immunoassay based methods including ELISAs and cell based assays. This role will be within a fast paced, GMP testing environment, so previous regulatory experience would be an advantage. The post holder will be required to work collaboratively with clients and internal colleagues to help execute custom studies for the purpose of characterization and quality assessment of biological therapeutics. There will be a requirement to develop, validate, transfer and execute methods in the lab. As an expert in this field, the post holder will be expected to maintain in depth understanding of the technology and must demonstrate a thorough level of knowledge and data interpretation. Working within a multi-disciplinary team, the applicant will alsobe responsiblefortraining others in theuse and applications of immunoassays for biopharmaceutical testing.

Who you are:

• Bachelor's or higher degree in Life Sciences
• Significant relevant experience
• Experience of assay development or validation for ELISA, cell based and other binding analysis assays
• Expert level of data analysis and interpretation
• Excellent communication skills
• Able to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to deliver projects on time to clients
• Experience working in a regulated GxP environmentis preferred.
