Your Role : we have an exciting opportunity for a talented Project Specialist to join our team in Glasgow. As our Project Specialist you will be responsible for the administration of support service projects in a capacity which includes the collection, management and distribution of HSE, facilities, validation, engineering and material management information. This role includes both the management of specific projects related to improvement of service and the development of tools and metrics.Our Project Specialist will be responsible for effective communication with the support services team and their suppliers and customers, both internal and external. Communication with cross-functional teams, such as Operations, Manufacturing, Project Management and Business Services will be critical to achieve positive results. To meet our dynamic client requirements, you would be working with process improvement methodologies and projects, gathering, cleaning, combining, manipulating and interpreting large data sets. This role also involves building tools for short term and longer-term use, cataloguing, developing and retiring tools, as well as building cross functional tools which integrate inputs and outputs from discrete management reporting and execution systems.

Who You Are:

• Qualified to Degree level in a science, engineering or a data sciencediscipline is essential
• Competent, relevant experience from Life Science or related industry is required
• Advanced data handling skills, as well as developed MS Excel capabilities (e.g. using pivot tables andmacros), with MS Access or SQL skills is essential
• Experience with Python programming and / or formal project management training would be advantageous.
• Lean Six Sigma training (Green or Black Belt Level preferred) would be highly desirable
