Patient Centricity & Public Affairs Manager
Your Role: We are looking for a Patient Centricity & Public Affairs Manager to join our Amsterdam based Healthcare team. As Patient Centricity & Public Affairs Manager, you will be responsible for building the strategy and drive the execution for both Patient Centricity and Public Affairs. You will develop and lead a partnership-based approach to patient advocacy & empowerment and policy stakeholders. You will ensure a strong collaboration with key stakeholders (eco system), including care stakeholders to ensure appropriate information is developed and implemented based on patient needs. Within Public Affairs you will leverage an active network with external stakeholders (working together with commercial, medical and MAP as needed), scan external environment to provide timely insights to the Dutch and EMEA team and build the plan for shaping the environment for key strategic areas (Fertility, Neurology & Oncology).
Who You Are:
- Educated to degree level, preferably in a related field such as health economics, health sciences or public policy
- 5+ years' experience in the pharmaceutical industry
- Extensive patient advocacy & governmental affairs experience
- Empathy for patients and people - and the right soft skills to connect and build relationships (with internal and external stakeholders)
- An extensive network within relevant stakeholders in the Netherlands
- Ability to strike the right balance between strategic and operational activities
- Fluent in Dutch and English
