Your Role:We have an exciting opportunity for an Inventory Assistant to join our Stores Inventory Management team in Glasgow.In this role you will be responsible for performing a wide variety of routine tasks to support inventory management of consumables, reagents and raw materials. You will work closely with Stores material handlers, QC and operations (laboratory testing departments) to ensure inventory is accurate and available (manual handling, labelling, transfer of materials to storage)in strict compliance with Quality Assurance, Health & Safety, and all other appropriate regulatory standards (cGMP) and company policies. This is a fantastic opportunity todevelop withinour business in a key role where you will be able to make a difference.
Who you are:
- Educated toSQA National 5 (or equivalent) including English and Maths.
- Must be self-motivated with strong initiative,with a focus on quality and safety.
- Able to demonstrate strong planning and organisational skills.
- Great communication and interpersonal skills.
- A good standard of written and spoken English and are computer literate.
- Prior knowledge of working with electronic systems including LIMS/ERP would be advantageous.
